AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA
CLASSIC DOCG
Amarone della Valpolicella is produced at 500 meters above sea level, on the soil of very ancient disintegrating lavas in the cru sub-zone, called Purano. At the time only Amarone was produced on these hills, then the disciplinary in 1967 extended the production of Amarone to the plain as well.This wine takes its name from the bitter vein that characterizes it; it is a dry wine, considered and appreciated among the most important national reds. Full-bodied, alcoholic, of great flavor, it goes well with important dishes such as wild game and roast meats, also cold cuts, aged cheeses and typical traditional dishes.
Ripasso di Valpolicella SUPERIORE
CLASSIC DOC
Ripasso di Valpolicella Superiore is produced in the province of Verona. It is a classic and superior red (also with Vigna mention) mainly from Corvina Veronese grapes, obtained from the refermentation of Valpolicella on the residual pomace of the Recioto DOCG and / or Amarone della Valpolicella; deep red in color tending to garnet with aging, characteristic scient with pleasant aroma, full, velvety and full-bodied flavor, it is recommended in combination with meat dishes, roast game and cheeses.
VALPOLICELLA Superiore
CLASSIC DOC
Valpolicella Superiore is a classic and superior red (also with Vigna mention) mainly of Corvina and Rondinella grapes; ruby red in color, it has hints of red fruit and raspberry, black pepper (typical of the Molinara grape). Aroma of toasted, caramel and vanilla aged in French oak. It is considered a wine for the whole meal, with a robust flavor, full and persistent body, well paired with stews, braised meats and wild game.
Valpolicella
CLASSIC DOC
Valpolicella is produced from grapes grown to 600m. above sea level, on basaltic and clayey soil of volcanic origin, in a sub-cru called Fradare, in Marano di Valpolicella valley facing Fumane. Mainly from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella grapes. Hints of red fruit and flowers, such as violet. Mineral and spiced wine (black pepper). Excellent for aperitifs, first courses of soups, light cheeses.
Recioto
CLASSIC DOCG
Recioto is a sweet passito red wine produced from the same grapes as Amarone, in the sweet variant. The Amarone vinification method follows, with the exception of the final part, in fact the fermentation of the sugars is interrupted to keep the wine sweet. The history of this wine is very ancient, it dates back to the fourth century after Christ, when Cassiodorus speaks of a sweet wine called Acinatico, obtained from a special technique of drying the grapes. The term recioto derives from "recia" which in the Venetian dialect identifies the ear of the grape stalk, that is the highest part and the most exposed to the sun's rays. In fact, only these grapes were destined for the production of this wine, as the most valuable.
Savine 'Cabernet Sauvignon

Saviné Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown on the hills at 500 meters above sea level, on a soil of ancient, decaying lavas. Terrain of volcanic origin, very rich in minerals, terraced on ancient dry stone walls, hand made more than 200 years ago, called "marogne" in Veneto. Project born in 1994, when the Protection Consortium suggested the planting of an international vine. It comes from late harvest and over-ripening of the grapes on the plant. Aged in French oak barrels for 7 years, then 2 years in the bottle. Hints of red fruit and berries, blackberry, raspberry, cherry, pepper and vanilla. Recommended with red and elaborate meats, stewed or braised, but also white and wild game meats, mature and blue cheeses. Excellent accompaniment for sweet flavors, such as chocolate.
