When you attend one of our Opera Bites, you will hear wonderful music sung by a classically trained singer. You’ll have the opportunity to listen and enjoy arias from famous operas, some of which will be performed in Verona this summer at the Arena. Whether you’re new to opera or a seasoned aficionado, you’ll come away with a deeper appreciation of this spectacular art form. At the conclusion of the performance, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy our wine tasting of our amazing Valpolicella wines and local foods. The tasting includes a selection of our fine wines from Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone; you’ll learn how to evaluate wine by sight, smell and taste. You’ll also enjoy our organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, local cheeses called Monte Veronese and Soppressa della Valpolicella (a kind of salami). You’ll learn how to dry Amarone grapes in the traditional drying room, a process called Appassimento. You’ll visit our rural house and the cellar from the 17th century used for winemaking and refinement. We’ll be waiting for you on our terrace overlooking the best panorama of the Valpolicella hills!
